Free beta terms

A small, honest agreement.

Draft terms for the free Unscene macOS beta. Last updated 24 August 2026.

These terms are not ready for public deployment. They require legal review, the publisher's legal name, governing law, and a support contact.

Beta software

Unscene is pre-release software provided for evaluation. Features can change, fail, or be withdrawn. Keep backups of every original image.

Permitted use

You may use the free beta for lawful image editing. Do not use it to violate privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights, or to create deceptive or unlawful material.

Open-source components

Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their respective licences. Unscene's notices accompany the application and do not restrict rights granted by those licences.

No warranty

The beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Generated results may be inaccurate or unsuitable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the beta.

Pro research

Joining the Pro research list does not create a subscription, purchase, reservation, or guarantee of access. Any future paid offer will have separate pricing and terms.
